Master Gardener opportunity through Garden Organic

April 2, 2012 by General Administrator

Hello,

Garden Organic are currently recruiting another twenty Master Gardeners to offer support and advice to people growing fruit and veg in Warwickshire. The new recruits will join our growing network of over 60 volunteers in the county.

So far the project has been really successful, with almost 400 households receiving the ongoing support of a Master Gardener, and over 10,000 residents spoken to. We’re looking for people with at least a couple of years food growing experience and the enthusiasm to encourage others to get growing. Application forms are available from me (contact details below) and an information sheet below contains further details:

The next foundation training weekend is on 28 and 29 April, here at Garden Organic, Ryton. Volunteers receive all the resources they need to get going, extra training days, Garden Organic membership and ongoing support. We ask for around 30 hours volunteering a year, helping other local people to grow their own! I’d be really grateful if you could forward this to anyone you know who may interested in getting involved! Please have a look at our website for more information. www.warwickshire.mastergardeners.org.uk

Thank you for your time, please do get in touch if you’d like more information.

Kind Regards Kate
